Logbook AI is an AI-powered application that allows pilots to digitize their physical logbook entries by photographing them. The Service uses artificial intelligence and optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract flight data from images.

The Service is provided "as is" and is intended to assist with logbook digitization. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all extracted data.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Providing accurate and complete information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service

AI-extracted data should be reviewed and verified before use
The Service does not replace official aviation records or documentation
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your logbook entries
The Service should not be used as the sole source of flight records for regulatory purposes

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Logbook AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Logbook AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or records
Inaccurate data extraction
Service interruptions or downtime
Any regulatory or legal issues arising from data inaccuracies

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy or reliability of AI-extracted data

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may request a copy of your data before termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Logbook AI operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
